HOW TO MEASURE WINDOW BLINDS
OUTSIDE MOUNT
FOR WIDTH
1) Measure the window opening width from the bottom edge on the middle and the window’s top edge using cm as the unit of measurement. Then get the largest value and add 15.24cm for the allowance.
FOR HEIGHT
2) Measure the window opening height on the left, middle, and right sides using cm as the unit of measurement. Then get the largest value and add 10.16cm for the allowance.

WINDOW BLINDS INSTALLATION
Window blinds are a modern window cover; they allow you to control the sunlight coming in, provide maximum privacy, operate easily, and are aesthetically attractive. In this procedure, I will show you how to install window blinds in less than 10 minutes. You can also watch the full video below.
What tools are needed?
- Hammer drill (with 3/16 Drill bit)
- Measuring tape
- Pencil
- Screwdriver
- Cutter
- Extension cord(If necessary)
What are the blinds accessories?
- L-bracket
- Clip
- Tox and screw
Procedure:
Step 1 Mark the wall where you are going to drill
- Measure 3in from the top edge of the window
- Mark the wall where you are going to drill
- Do it on the other side
Step 2 Drill the marked location with a hammer drill
Step 3 Unbox the blinds using a cutter
- Be careful not to hit the fabric
Step 4 Install the L-bracket and Clip
- Put the tox
- Put the L-bracket in place
- Fasten the screw with a screwdriver
- Attach the clip on the L-bracket hook
- Do it on the other side
Step 5 Clamp the headrail with the clip
- Remove the rubber band on the cord
- Pull down the cord for about 2 inches to pull off the lower rail from the headrail
- Using the left thumb, push the clip upward; with the right thumb on the lower front casing of the headrail, push up the headrail
